Laurel Campus: Grades 3 - 12

Our Laurel campus offers individually tailored learning environments, social skills instruction and practice, and specialized integrated services including behavioral counseling, speech and language therapy, occupational and physical therapy, career and technical education and exploration, and meaningful job opportunities in the community. Our school focuses on crisis prevention through a strengths-based approach for students ages 8-21 from Maryland and Washington, D.C

Programs

At PHILLIPS School ~ Laurel, we provide a highly individualized academic experience with exceptional teachers and staff, tailored learning environments and small classes with low student-to-staff ratios. The Laurel campus offers the Growing Futures Program, a culinary arts and urban agriculture career and technical education program. Click here for more information.

PHILLIPS Laurel is approved by the Maryland State Department of Education and a member of the Maryland Association for Non-Public Special Education Facilities. We are also approved for placement by the District of Columbia.

Our students benefit from programs tailored to meet their learning and behavioral wellness needs, including:

  • Curricula meeting credit requirements for a high school diploma (DC, MD)

  • Curricula to meet the criteria for Certificates of Completion (MD) or Certificates of Attainment or IEP (DC)
