Annandale Campus: Grades 1 - 12

Our Annandale campus offers highly individualized learning environments, social skills training and practice, and integrated services including counseling, speech and language therapy, occupational and physical therapy, career and technical education curricula, and authentic job opportunities in the community. We focus on crisis prevention through a strengths-based approach for students ages 6-22 from Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C.

Programs

At PHILLIPS School ~ Annandale, we offer an intensive specialized educational experience with exceptional faculty and staff, highly individualized learning environments and classes with low student-to-staff ratios.

PHILLIPS Annandale is approved to serve students ages 6 - 22 and grades 1 - 12 with challenges in the following areas:

  • Autism

  • Emotional Wellness

  • Intellectual Abilities

  • Multiple Disabilities

  • Other Health Impairments

  • Specific Learning Challenges

  • Licensed to operate, from the Virginia Board of Education

  • Accredited by the Virginia Association of Independent Specialized Education Facilities (VAISEF) whose process has been approved by the Virginia Council for Private Education (VCPE) as authorized by the Virginia State Board of Education

  • Approved for placement by Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia

  • Member, National Association of Private Special Education Centers (NAPSEC)

  • State-standard curricula meeting requirements for a high school diploma (DC, MD, VA) including the Applied Studies Diplomas (VA), Certificates of Completion (MD) or Certificates of Attainment or IEP (DC). PHILLIPS participates in all state-mandated assessments.
