Designing Futures an innovative career and technical education program providing opportunities for youth to build confidence and competence through 3D Design and Print, and information technology curriculum.
Our project-based, hands-on experiential learning model includes:
• Personalized instruction in professional level CAD (Computer Aided Design) software and IT technology
• Experience operating 3D printers and working with IT hardware
• Entrepreneurial skills needed for any career
Designing Futures Students
Earn Certification in either CAD or IT;
Build technical & academic skills required for employment in additive manufacturing fields;
Develop soft job skills, critical thinking & problem solving;
Participate in community projects;
Receive individualized support.
Designing Futures youth gain confidence and competence to achieve their personal goals. Through participation in entrepreneurial activities and authentic work experiences, youth thrive as they develop marketable career skills.
